Every Friday I’ll write a short column here — sometimes about a specific piece, sometimes about the estate sale I drove out to that week, occasionally about a recipe a seller insisted I write down before I left.
This week’s table is small but good. An opaline vase from a Sunday brocante in Coustellet (probably Vallérysthal). Six indigo-dyed linen napkins, monogrammed, from a teacher in Arles clearing her mother’s armoire. A brass library lamp out of an hôtel particulier near Avignon — properly rewired, original green shade. And finally, the fig & woodsmoke candle, version four, which I think is the one.
Below: one of the pieces, embedded with the new Object Card block. This is how I’ll write about specific finds going forward.
