A small room of things
worth keeping.

Came out of a closed café in Cavaillon — the owner retired in May and sold the whole interior over a weekend. The silvering has gone in patches at the bottom, which is exactly what you want. Hangs heavy, two strong hooks please.

A bit of 70s confidence. Smoke-grey blown glass, slightly tapered, the kind of thing a serious uncle would have used for red wine at lunch. From a house clearance in L'Isle itself — second floor, two flights up, the seller's grandfather had three of these and only this one survived.

I blend this one in the back room. Green fig leaf at the top, then the heart goes warm — dry woodsmoke, a thread of cade, a little black tea. Soy and rapeseed wax, cotton wick, amber glass we reuse if you bring it back. Cured for two weeks before it ships.

Pulled from a stack at a vide-grenier in Pernes-les-Fontaines. Empty, which is how I like them — you find the picture later. Hand-carved oak, the kind of small repeating motif (a sort of stylised leaf) that someone spent a whole winter doing. Two of them, almost a pair.
